About the Event

Lise's talk is based on two anthropological fieldwork studies on the practices and decision-making processes concerning energy matters. In the first study, Lise followed ten Danish households on their journey from receiving a free energy consultation to deciding on investments in retrofitting. In the second study, Lise followed ten Danish households participating in a project, where they were offered flexible electricity prices by their energy supplying company. In Lise's talk, she will discuss the gendered negotiations and practices regarding energy use, which took place within the private households.
