Emerging Energy Geographies: PGR Research

Session Organisers:

Joe Lawley (Leeds University)

Alice Garvey (Leeds University)

Kate Scott (University of Manchester)

The Energy Geographies Research Group (EnGRG) welcomes contributions to an online conference session that traces the contours of emerging PGR energy geographies research. Applications are open to researchers from across all areas of the discipline, at any stage in their postgraduate studies. Attendance is free and you do not need to be a member of EnGRG or the RGS to apply.

The event will provide you with an opportunity to meet other postgraduate researchers that work in the broad field of energy geographies, and to generate discussion and feedback around your work-in-progress in a friendly and supportive environment.

Contributions can take one of two formats. Either:

Research Presentations

Authors have 10 minutes to present their work, and 5 minutes for questions and answers.

Just-a-Minute Presentations

Authors have 1 minute and 1 slide on which to present an aspect of their research. A prize will be awarded for the best presentation.

To apply, please complete the following form with your 200word abstract by Monday 8th March 2021.  Successful presenters will be informed by 12th March 2021. The session will be held on Monday 19th April 2021.
