EnGRG dissertation prize 2015/16
22 September 2016
The EnGRG committee would like to congratulate Emily Ellis from the University of St Andrews, on winning the best undergraduate dissertation competition with her research on domestic heat demand in Glasgow.
In making this choice, the committee highlighted how Emily's dissertation presented a very clear and novel contribution to the geographies of heating demand, and was methodologically sophisticated. Additionally, the committee were impressed with how Emily contextualised the development of energy geographies and very firmly connected with geographical concerns and criticisms.
