Supporting Research

landscape-coast-road-windmill-river-refl

We work to facilitate research on energy issues, focusing on two themes:

1. The spatial dimensions of energy issues and the value of geographical concepts for their analysis.

2. The centrality of energy issues to geography: a discipline that is committed to understanding society-environment relations.

Details of our current research activities can be found below.

We host a series of (mostly online) events across the year. These are free to attend and open to anyone with an interest in energy issues.

RGS Session Sponsorship

Each year, the EnGRG sponsors research sessions at the RGS Annual Conference.

Sponsorship is free and it makes your session easier to find. It also guarantees you free publicity!
